Title: Graphic Designer
Classification: Full-Time, Exempt
Location: Des Moines, IA or Storm Lake, IA (Remote work status would be considered for the right candidate).
Minimum Qualifications:
1 - 3 years of graphic design and marketing agency experience required
1 - 2 years of financial institution experience preferred
Degree in Graphic Design or a related field

This position will be the primary designer on client accounts as assigned and serve as back-up to accounts as needed. This person must also be able to manage projects from start to finish, including concept development, presentations, layout and production, vendor coordination, and communicating/troubleshooting with account team and vendors. A high level of creativity, excellent design skills, and an eye for detail is a must.
This position reports to the Creative Director.
Design complete omni-channel campaigns that include web and print ads, direct mail, email blasts and landing pages, social media graphics, billboards, merchandising (posters, banners, POP, etc.), along with brochure systems, logos, websites, and annual reports
Develop creative concepts and campaign ideas based on direction provided by design leadership and/or account team
Produce high-quality work and assist with overall job quality
Manage projects from start to finish
Contribute in collaborative meetings and work with the account manager and coordinator to achieve client goals
Follow the brand guidelines and style guides to ensure consistency
Search for and research new vendors, apps, and technology for various resources
Support the Creative/Brand Directors and design team with other duties as assigned
Contribute to company-wide goals
Strong knowledge of graphic design principles, such as typography, color theory, and composition
Experience producing all components in a multi-media campaign, including storyboard creation
Experience with digital media, print production, photography direction, brand, and logo development, web design, and more
The aptitude to assess project specifics and help the team create a final product that adheres to client expectations and brand
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, and Microsoft Office
Knowledge of Motion graphics (After Effects, Premier Pro, and XD) and HTML preferred but not required
Work well under tight time constraints and show deadline integrity
Capable of collaborating with and taking direction from design, account teams, and clients
Work with careful attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Competent planning, organization, and prioritization skills

Good sense of humor in a very fast-paced environment
